How can we help?
Each freelancer can only have one account on perfectlancer.com. Having more than one account violates the Terms and Conditions and results in the suspension of both accounts.
Log in to your account and click on your profile picture at the top right corner of the website to enter your profile page. There, click on the edit profile and add or modify the incomplete fields. The more complete your profile is, the higher your chances are at finding jobs.
When you are bidding for a job, you can add milestones depending on the job you are bidding for. Once you are accepted to work as a freelancer in a project, you can request to edit milestones as well.
Escrow is an arrangement where you use a “third party” (somebody who is neither the buyer or seller) to hold something of value. That third party helps to make the transaction safer by ensuring that both the buyer and the seller meet their obligations.
On the project page, first read the details and descriptions of the project thoroughly. If you find yourself suitable for the job, then place a bid by clicking on the button in the project’s card. Then a page will pop up where you can enter the amount you want to bid on the project, enter the duration of the project (which should be as long as you can deliver the project), a description of your proposal and a list of milestones along with each of the milestones durations and amounts. In order to be able to bid on a project, you need to have at least one of its required skills in your profile, and for that, it’s advised that you complete your profile before starting bidding.
Bidding is free for freelancers. However, there are a limited number of bids (20 bids in the first edition of the site) available for each user per month.
Yes. Freelancers can edit bids that they have placed on the projects before their project is accepted. However, after the project is accepted, too, either party (both the freelancer and the employer) can edit the bid (the milestones) with the permission of the other party.
