I grew up in Hong Kong and understand the cultural contexts in Western and Chinese languages. Since graduating from university, I embarked on an exciting career at a major local press, where I pursue stories and translated news source from all around the world.
From the experience, not only did I gain much insights in international politics and social issues, but I also transformed into a translator who values accuracy and clarity while catching readers' attention at the same time. I am specifically proud of my reports on the 100th anniversaries of WWI and WWI.
Last year, I steered into the new world of independent translation. I have helped clients with website and UI contents, marketing materials for luxury goods, and academic papers. I am also an art lover and have basic knowledge in art history. I am eager to make use of my experience to explore new opportunities.
