For our online magazine, we are looking for someone being able to 1) do some research about a topic and 2) write an easy-to-read article summarizing the findings and presenting them in a striking or remembering way. The articles should show striking facts and be in an informal tone, very easy to read and understand (no scientific articles at all and not too technical stuff but scientific content and precise facts well and easily explained) with striking examples, concrete facts and comparisons. Like if you were explaining it to an 8-year-old child.
Here are the 3 articles we would like you to write:
1. 10 Key Facts, Statistics & Things to Know about the Great Pacific garbage patch (Pacific trash vortex)
2. 10 Key Facts & Statistics about Plastic Pollution in the Ocean
(1 fact will for example be: how many tons of plastic are dumped into the oceans every year. There can also be facts about the causes and the consequences)
3. 10 Key Facts about Climate Change
(for the 3rd article, we need links to graphs that we can add to the article)
Each article should be composed of 10 paragraphs (1 key fact or stat per paragraph) and list the sources at the very end (scientific sources!).
Length should be around 1000 words for each article.
